In co-operation with DSB we can supply a system to suit most needs.
CAT-SlidesLow freeboard applications are most suited to the DSB CAT-Slide system whereby a short evacuation slide is installed at the evacuation point. This slide is inflated into the liferaft which will have been bowsed into position and the evacuation begins.
DSB CAT-Slides may be used either with self-righting liferafts or open -reversible liferafts.
All the CAT-Slide systems are MED approved.

Operation of the CAT-Slide system by a single crew member is simplicity itself and because the slides and rafts are packed separately no special stowage systems are necessary resulting in reduced service costs to the operator.
Mini-SlidesFor slightly greater freeboards we can offer the DSB Mini-Slide systems in which slide and raft(s) are packed into a single container for ease of deployment. These systems allow deployment for freeboard heights up to 7 metres.
BRUDE MES ORL
For freeboard heights between 3 metres and 15 metres we can offer, inconjunction with DSB, the BRUDE MES ORL system from Brude Safety AS of Norway. The system is EC Type approved and provides an evacuation system that may be operated by just one crew member. It offers a reduced area on deck, reduced servicing costs thanks to an exchange arrangment which means reduced downtime for the shipowner.
Easily retro-fitted, the system provides for safe and reliable evacuation.
