Self-Righting Liferafts
The LR97(L)SR range of self-righting liferafts produced by DSB has been added to in 2006 with the introduction of the 150 person liferaft. As with all DSB rafts the self righting range of rafts hold EC type approval for the following sizes:

Packed in GRP containers these liferafts incorporate all the safety features of their conventional raft cousins with the addition of a self-righting ability which ensures that they always deploy correctly The jettison type may also be used in conjunction with the DSB Mini-Slide and CAT-Slide MES systems. |

In addition to their self-righting capability, these container packed liferafts are fitted with a tested lowering arrangement which will allow deployment and boarding at deck level, before being lowered safely to the water.

All LR97( L)SR liferafts may be fitted with SOLAS "A" type or "SOLAS "B" type emergency equipment with the following exceptions, which are SOLAS "B" pack only. |
