Purchasing Online

All orders are accepted subject to our standard Terms and Conditions.

Orders are normally delivered using the following methods:

 ~ Up to 1 kg:  1st Class Mail  (also for Publications products up to 2 kg)
 ~ Over  1 kg:​   Priority courier (next working day delivery)

 ~ Up to 1 kg:  Air Mail
 ~ Over  1 kg:​  International Economy (road) courier

For delivery purposes, "Europe" means:
~ all EU Member states except Cyprus and Malta
~ plus Albania, Andorra, Belarus, Bosnia, Macedonia, Monaco, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine.​​

 ~ Up to 1 kg:  Air Mail
 ~ Over  1 kg:​  International Priority (air) courier

(c) Payment

Sage Pay is Europe's leading independent payment-service-provider. It is part of The Sage Group (a FTSE 1000 listed global accounting software company), processes over 4 billion payments a year, and is used by over 50,000 businesses across Europe. All transactions are securely encrypted, and processed through their powerful fraud prevention tools to check if your card details have previously been compromised somewhere else online and to prevent the illegal use of a card by an unauthorised person.

Both SagePay and ourselves fully comply with the PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) and are independently audited. Your card details are processed through SagePay and are not stored by us.

(d) VAT

All the products for which we offer online purchasing on this website are despatched from the UK, and are subject to VAT unless exempted by UK VAT regulations.

If your invoicing address is outside the UK, and you give us a delivery address within the UK, then VAT will be applied to your order. (However, if the ultimate destination of the goods is outside the UK, and the UK delivery address is that of an international forwarding agent, your forwarding agent will be able to reclaim the VAT on your behalf against the appropriate Customs documentation).

If delivery is to the UK Channel Islands, when you reach the Checkout please select the delivery country "United Kingdom Channel Islands" so that our system will automatically remove any VAT.

During the Checkout process, if you specify a delivery address which is outside the UK but within the EU VAT Territory, you will be prompted for your VAT number. After entering your VAT number, click the "Update" button to remove the VAT from your order. (If you are not registered for VAT in the delivery country, insert a single 0 (zero) character in the VAT number field, and then click "Update").

For deliveries to areas which are part of the EU but are outside the EU VAT Territory (eg Canary Islands, Faroe Isles etc), please select the appropriate destination country, insert a 0 (zero) character in the VAT number box, and then click "Update".

No VAT is applied under current UK VAT regulations.

 

(e) Cancellations and Returns

If you wish to cancel an order or return an item, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation can only be made with our written agreement, and subject to the terms of Clause 12 of our Terms and Conditions.

Please check the contents of your delivery carefully. Any damage, shortage or error must be advised to us in writing within 3 days of delivery. We will then contact you to resolve the problem.

If we delivered the item in error, or if the item is damaged or defective, we will pay the carriage costs of returning and replacing it.
